This half-term we looked at celebrations from the past. We made sweets and prepared the classroom to celebrate Diwali with a party.  We also celebrated the Persian New Year (Nowruz) which indicates the start of spring.

We used maps to find different countries around the world and focused on Japan.  We learnt what life in Japan is like, what is the same in Japan and England and what is different.

We learnt a new spring song for our Easter Service, Old McDonald's Easter Farm, which we enjoyed singing to you all in church.

We continued to learn our sounds in phonics, number skills in maths, and we are working hard on our handwriting.
