The topic this term was The Great Fire of London.  We made timelines of the events of the fire, learnt how it started and where.

Africa was our country of interest for geography, particularly Kenya.  We went on a virtual safari and learnt about all the animals that can be found there.

These topics inspired our DT activities, and we made bread rolls and cheese straws.  We also made clay African animal tiles which we are looking forward to painting after Easter, once the clay is dry.

One of our class books this term was Lila and the Secret of Rain by David Conway.  We retold the story by means of talk for writing.  

We wrote Kennings poems to put inside our Mother's Day cards.

In RE we covered the Islamic story of The Crying Camel, and we went on a cross hunt around the church for Christianity and Easter.
