On the 3rd March the children the children participated in World Book Day.  They could come into school dressed as their favourite book character, bring in a root vegetable cleverly disguised as a book character or just bring in a copy of their favourite book.

Our PTA group, FOEs, provided a special treat in the form of a special World Book Day workshop hosted by The Big Bubble Theatre.  

Keystage 1 and EYFS met with the Fairy Godmother and retold the story of Cinderella and Keystage 2  was taken through the story of Oliver Twist by Nancy.

Mr Shaw & Mrs Steenkamp, along with our Headboy & Headgirl chose winning costumes and winning vegetables from each year group. The winners were given a chocolate prize.
