The first half of this term we looked at World War One, how it began, when it began, when it ended and who was involved.  Our class book was "War Horse" by Michael Morpurgo. 

The second half-term was focussed on the Second World War and how children were impacted by evacuation.  Our class book this half-term was "Letters from the Lighthouse" by Emma Carroll. 

We wrote and performed our own class assembly for the whole school and the Year 6 parents.

In DT (Cookery) we made Apple Crumble & Custard, followed by Pumpkin & Spinach Dahl.

We travelled to London and visited the Houses of Parliament.  We met our local MP and asked him questions about being a Member of Parliament.

We also found our year 6 roles and who was voted head-boy and head-girl for 2024/2025.
