Our first term at big school is all about getting to know our friends, year 6 buddies, teachers and the school and classroom.  Lots of exploring the area!

We talked about our grandparents and were really lucky to have a visit from some who spent time talking to us about their time at school and things they liked to do as children.

We learnt about places that were special to us, and we made our first Christingles for the service that kicks off Christmas at school.

With Christmas in full flow, we used beads, sequins, bamboo, pinecones etc. to make collages of Christmas trees, and we made a giant cardboard box tree for the classroom which we decorated with baubles we made in school.
